Q: Can I lay the grass myself?

A: A sand base is generally recommended, but if your drainage is insufficient, a mix of sand and hardcore is advisable. If drainage is excellent, you may lay it directly on compacted sod. Our grass can also be installed on timber surfaces or any hard floor. For gravel bases, ensure a layer of sand is applied and compacted for optimal results.

Q: Can I put it on top of my existing grass?
A: We do not recommend laying synthetic turf over existing grass, as the underlying grass will gradually die, potentially causing uneven surfaces. Our installation begins by expertly removing all existing lawn to a suitable depth. We replace it with a meticulously compacted drainage sand/grit base and a high-quality geotextile weed-preventative membrane, ensuring a flawless and durable new surface.
